My household is sad this location closed. We first discovered Hambone's when we drove back to our old neighborhood. We were going back to get our favorite ceviche tostadas. When my husband notices a BBQ spot. Now, I am not a BBQ person but Hambone's is the BEST and only BBQ I love. Praying you are able to come back stronger and reopen a local shop.

Came here for the closing day. Had just found out the day before that they would be closing!! What a shame!! Not too many BBQ places around here. They will definitely be missed.

Great burgers! Last time I got the Smoked Pastrami Burger and it was amazing with a noticable smoky flavor. This time OMG I was totally caught off guard. I ordered the Specialty Burger without fully reading the description. What arrived was a 1 foot tall towering burger containing everything you can imagine and held together with 2 skewers going right through it. But it was delicious! I should have known something was up when the server slightly gasped when I ordered it. Then when it arrived at my table, I gasped, and the chef poked his head out of the kitchen with a big smile on his face. All in all it was a hilarious and fun experience! If you just want a normal but awesome burger, then order the Classic Burger instead.

My family and I have been eating here for years. We have ordered take out most of the time, and recently we have been dining in. Their food is consistently delicious. No complaints at all. They have a variety of bbq sauces/ regular sauces that are great too. My boyfriend grew up eating in a southern household, and he said the food is spot on. He loves the cat fish and collard greens. He likes the Mac and cheese too (not as much as his momma's lol ) You get a hefty amount of food for the price and quality. The service here is always great too. The waiters and waitresses are very kind. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and they have TVs that always play sports channels

Delicious bbq that nobody in Orange County seems to visit. Always empty when I come in. But that means service is fast and attentive. I always get tangy sauce and beef ribs as king with the delicious macaroni and cheese. Has a bar inside and a good spot to bring your family.

Hands down the best barbecue in Southern California. BBQ is often imitated but a poor job is done duplicated. Hambones is the type of place where they're not trying to copy anyone. The recipes are original no copies no takes on another person's recipe, what you get is great barbecue and great sides. Service is exceptional the food is even better and if you're in the area it's worth to stop. Many people have complained over the years about the prices of barbecue. But honestly barbecue excuse me good barbecue takes time. You can taste it here. The mac and cheese is up there in the top three of any place I've been that calls himself a restaurant. The prices are reasonable for what you get and the barbecue is fantastic. Y'allhollatchaboy.

I ordered Hambones from Grubhub tonight for the first time. If you want AMAZING AUTHENTIC Barbecue...Look no further We Ordered ribs and a tri trip sandwich which was THE BEST SANDWICH I have had in years!! The sandwich was the way I like it...amazing Meat, soft Roll with delicious Sauce The Banana pudding was Scrumptious. Topped off with my favorite Black Cherry soda I can never find. I can't wait for tomorrow to see what else they have. Thank you Hambones. You have new Customers for life !
